It’s been about two months since Archie joined our family.  I’ve been sharing short updates on my FB and Instagram pages, and some of you have met him in person.  But for anyone who hasn’t yet, we adopted him in May from AWSOM in Stroudsburg PA.  His paperwork says he’s a GSD-Aussie cross, which is a lot of words, so we’re going with Shepherd mix.

There’s a lot of pressure with a new puppy to do all of the things, but we’ve learned from past dogs to focus first on making friends and building trust.  And house training.  Lots of house training.
